Mounting flange for Autoterm Air 2D and Air 4D

This flange allows the installation of an air heater in floors or walls with a thickness of up to 80mm.

An air heater is usually only suitable for installation in thin sheet metal walls or floors. With this flange, it is also possible to use an insulated floor structure with wooden panels or a sandwich panel up to 40mm thick. Precise measuring and accurate drilling of multiple openings for combustion air, fuel and exhaust lines as well as mounting pins is no longer necessary – these openings are already integrated into the flange and allow direct installation of the heater. Only a rectangular cutout of approx. 115 x 102mm is required in the floor or wall.

Installation instructions:

Select a suitable flat and even installation area with a maximum total thickness of 40mm (e.g. floor panel or wall). There must be no load-bearing or structurally relevant body components underneath the installation point.
Cut a rectangular opening of 115 x 102mm
Insert the mounting flange and screw it in place. Seal the area underneath the flange with sealant beforehand.
Insert the parking heater into the flange from the inside and install all fasteners and hoses from the outside.

Done.

Material: stainless steel, laser-cut, deburred, welded, screwed.

This flange is suitable not only for all Autoterm Planar air heaters (Planar Air 2D, Planar Air 4D), but also for various Webasto and Eberspächer models with the same hole pattern.
